This post is to get predictions on how much time Maiden has left in their career do you think they will keep going well into their 50's or will Dance be the last effort......

I went Apeshit when I saw the Trooper live

I saw them this year and they did not look like a band with nothing left to give. I think we can definitely look forward to another couple of albums at least. The only thing I hope is that the band is able to quit with grace when the time is right and not turn into six shambling Ozzy Osbournes, doing one-inch hops in lieu of two-footed leaps.

I don't like to say this, but I think that Nicko could turn out to be the weak spot in the band. He is already in his mid 50s and although I'm not a drummer myself the way he plays the drums looks pretty demanding in a physical sense.

I really, really hope that I am wrong there and that Nicko will be able to keep it up for many more years to come, but I have my doubts and I am worried about what it could mean for Maiden, if he should be forced to quiet for physical reasons.

I have to say with the way they were at Universal they definitely have some time left! I hope I am able to carry on like they do when I am in their age group! I wonder what mood the next album will have. A nice instrumental could be a happy thing!
