how to achieve BAD guitar sound?

hi guys im trying to achieve a guitar sound like this http://www.myspace.com/birthrightxvx

nowdays its hard to do - coz back than it was all on tape through the gear that was at that time

any ideas on how to do that? maybe any impulses that could help?

Reminds me of my FOH days. I'd say Boss MT-2+ JCM 900 is a safe bet . I'm not sure this is about tape.

sounds like jcm900 without pedals to me, i certainly don't hear a boss mt-2 in this one.
