How to convert audio ( drum hits ) into midi ?????

hey guys

i've got KT trigger running in cubase sx , and i don't wanna use it just to sample stuff off a sampler ( aka battery ) but i actually want to export it as a midi file so that i can re open it up in cubase and edit it before sampling it off battery

how do u do it ? or any other ways ??

You just need to route KT trigger to a midi track input and record it. What's the problem?

Lol Burny. ATC - don't take that in the wrong way, we all have our days when we overlook the simplest solution, sometimes it's because it seems too simple to be the answer, and sometimes it's because we're just braindead. Either way, Burny's answer was correct, just route KT to a MIDI track input, and hit record. It'll playback the shit as well as record the MIDI notes from KT, then you can take the MIDI and apply it to the godly DFHS (if you were cool ) and have a killer drum sound. Kidding. Good luck!
