how to reamp with kemper

1/4" out from your interface --> 808 --> Whatever input you're using for reamping on the Kemper. You could also a VST on the DI track in Cubase, or one of the distortion stomps in the Kemper.

Thanks but that's not exactly what I wanted. After stopping to think more carefully again  (and with some help, why not say it ) I have achieved:

Kemper send out - OD808 in
OD808 out - Kemper return
First stomp - loop mono

Et voilá!!!

The trouble now is, once I increase the tone more than 25% at the end of the palm mutes, I hear something like a reverb or a subtle hiss but it is very annoying. Only happens with the physical OD808, if I put the Green Screamer Kemper doesn´t. Anyone else happen?

Hey! Convient this thread is going I am having a connection issue with my kemper as well, based mainly in ignorance. I am running the rack kemper though spdif into a tascam US-1800 and my DAW is Logic 9.

Can anyone who runs logic give me a clue as to how to get this off the ground? (my biggest concern is recognizing the spdif connection in logic, not so sure how to do this)

P.S. my tascam control panel's digital output is routed to spdif

Have you tried Distortion loop? I've never fiddled with them, but I know it does something different from the other two.

Also, just for fun, do you get the same issue if you run Guitar -> 808 -> Kemper?

Nop. Sounds fine on this way

You have to use the distortion loop

I've done it and the noise continues. I get the impression that the stomp produces that noise for some reason unknown to me. I'll prove with another in the future to see, for now I will use the Kemper Green Screamer that sounds good enough for me. Thanks guys!

I just tried with my 808 and I got a bit of extra noise after each palm mute, but nothing significant. Try turning up the Noise Gate knob a bit, then put a 4:1 Gate after your loop and turn it up to around half. That cut out most of the tiny hiss I was getting on mine.

Also did that with the same result. Because of that I think that is more a problem of the stomp itself than anything else. When I touch it with my hand, noise is removed ... has to be something related to static electricity, cable, bad contact ... I'll try with other cables and another stomp. Thanks Jormyn!
