How to record Keyboard into profire 2626???

So tomorrow im recording a band with keyboard but whats the best way to record it to my interface not sure how midi works. All i see in the back of the Casio keyboard is a USB port and 1/4 outs but how would i be able to connect it to my interface.. I also want to use maybe like a synth program so how does that work?

Do i need any special kind of cable?

If you want to just record the sounds of the keyboard you'll need two 1/4" cables..

Connect them to both outputs on the keyboard, and into the first two instrument inputs in your profire. Channel 1 is left, channel 2 is right.

If you want to do midi, just hook a midi cable up to your profire.

Well i think we want to use some vsti, but the midi cable connects to usb in keyboard??
