Hey guys, I bought the M-Audio Profire 2626 yesterday. Stoked on the purchase, but I can fully admit I'm going to ask basic questions (that I should have figured out myself)

To save frustration though...here goes:

I'm attempting to plug my guitar in to record dry (then use Revalver)

The only problem...I can record, but I cannot hear anything back (unless I use the built-in audio and abandon the profire's usage)

Do I have to plug in speakers into the interface to hear anything back/use the headphone jack as an alternative?

Again, n00b question v.102. Thanks for your patience, I just want to get up and running.

PS - the manual only explains how to set up the profire 2626, which worked

First off, congrats on the purchase :headbang:

Second, equipment sub-forum ;)

Third, check the Profire software control panel and make sure the routing is as it should be to outputs 1 and 2, though if you're using computer speakers (I assume with an 1/8" stereo plug), I'd just plug it into the headphone output via an 1/8"-1/4" stereo adapter
