Difference Between Audio Interface and MIDI Interface

Guys Please Tell Me Whats The Difference Between Audio Interface and MIDI Interface? I'm A Bit NOOB on Recording Techniques. Can I Connect My MIDI Keyboard in an AUDIO INTERFACE?

Audio interface lets you record audio.
Midi interface let's you record midi.

You cannot record midi data through an audio input. I like to think of midi cables like a fancy USB cable. All it does is transfers information between the keyboard and computer/interface. That information can then be used to trigger notes on virtual instruments.

If your synth has an audio output then you can record that into an audio interface.

some audio interfaces have midi i/o so you could connect your midi keyboard into it through a midi cable, but not through the audio inputs. Also, most midi keyboards nowadays also have a direct usb interface so you don't need to use midi if you're connecting to a computer.
