I posted this in another thread, but IMHO its worth putting in a new one since it seems people are done with the old one. So here you go.

It seems the Wacken IT guys figured something out overnight, and so my Wacken live stream was denied today because of country restrictions. However, there is a way around it and so is possible to watch Wacken no matter where you are located. Go download the TOR browser from here:

https://www.torproject.org/download/...d-easy.html.en

You will need Flash enabled. For anonymity reasons Flash is disabled in Tor. To enable Flash, go into your Tor browser's menu, choose "Add-ons" then choose "Plugins" and enable plugins, and then enable Shockwave/Flash. You can test to see if you have it all set by going to this site to test your Flash version:

https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

If Adobe says you have flash enabled in your Tor browser, then go to Wacken Live and watch a live stream with your Tor browser:

https://www.wacken.com/live/

Now, if it still says your country is not allowed, or you have the stream but its choppy or too slow, then restart Tor browser to obtain a Tor exit node in a country that doesn't have Wacken's stupid restrictions and try again. Simply asking for a "New Identity" will not work because Wacken's live stream site checks for a cookie to see if you were previously denied. Restarting the Tor browser will delete any old cookies when it closes.

Enjoy Wacken.

Thanks for the info! I am however stuck on the last set of instructions. I don't know what an exit node is, or where I can find that. Give me a little more info on that if you would, please.

Thanks!

Tor routes you randomly every time you open it. If your first routing exits at a node not in an allowed country, try try again.
