How would i be better of?

buying a Emu 1820M and using that interface or buying and EMU 1212m with a Behringer ADA8000?

what would help me get better quality?

i would also have 8 preamps if i bought the ADA8000

and most people are quit possitive about it.

haha... yeah, normally i don't realy hurry but i can get a 1820m for pretty cheap right know, but the guy has another interrested person to.. so would realy like to know

i just saw that the ADA8000's actualy use Alesis converters!!

and that allthough the micpre's kinda suck its actualy a pretty good AD/DA converter.

anyone have experience with this?

A friend of mine has the 1820m + ada 8000. He sent me some samples. For the price, there´s nothing better. I´ll check with him to see if i can upload those samples.

that would be awesome!, because i heard alot of positive reviews on the ADA8000 but never realy heard any results with it.

i'm thinking of just buying the 1820m with the ADA8000 too... since i would then have both the inputs of the 1820 (not to mention the midi in to... would be good for triggers..drumprogramming maybe..) plus the 8 ins of the ADA8000.

right?
