How would you edit out a pop like this?

We ended up recording a perfect take of acoustic the other day, but had to do a retake which wasnt as good thanks to this pop of doom on 8 seconds.
I've got nuendo with all the trimmings, but how would you guys try to cover up one of these blighters?

(on my first attempt, the pop filters dont seem to be good enough for this big problem, and when i tried to cut it out it cut a noticable skip?)

either decrease the volume of the click rather than cutting it out or make a loop from another pass. Or just keeping playing it again and again
