Ooh. I'm trying to get back into recording soon, so a mic would be nice to have. The Avery tracks sound pretty nice. I'll have to Google around and think about this one.

It's a good, ethical principle - but virtually impossible in practise. If you own anything electronic, it's probably got something Chinese in it.
