Is it as good as the Peavey 5150 and is it 800$ worth?

no. It is pretty good... but no 5150. I tried it out for a week with a 412 cab and was not that impressed... you can tell it is solid state.

I tested it myself and it is pure transistor. It is not very good, but for this price it is ok.
