Lately I'm getting a loud hum out of my Equipment - doesn't matter if I'm playing through my 6505, through my Ampeg VL502 or through both at the same time.
First I thought it's a ground loop caused by the "connection" of both amps.
Today I happened to accidentaly disconnect my pedal board's power supply (setup was: guitar -> tuner -> wah -> sd-1 -> noise gate -> 6505 .. only ONE amp!) and the loud hum disappeared.
The pedal boards power adapter was connected to the same power"splitter" (don't know the english word for it) as the amp was. Could that be a ground-loop, too? And what can I do to prevent it?
Any suggestions welcome, bro's!
