Humbucker pickup angle relative to strings?

Has anyone experimented with this to see if it makes any meaningful difference?

Some guitars, one example being an SG with pick guard, have quite an angle on the bridge pickup whereas other guitars maintain the pickups parallel with strings.

This is what I mean -

Uneven

vs

Parallel

Any difference must be small, but I imagine it isn't zero difference. Are your bridge pickups parallel or uneven?

Yes, there is a difference for sure. Some humbuckers are mounted with three or more screws to be able to adjust the angle like Caparison or Carvin pickups.

To me, if you mount them like your first pic, the coil that's further away from the bridge becomes more dominant because it's closer to the strings than the other coil, and usually sounds bassier because it's further away from the bridge.
