Hurricane Ike

Ike hit IL on Sunday morning. I was without power until around 3PM today. Totally messed up any assignments I was going to do. I'm just glad my power is back now.

Wow, how bad was the wind/rain there? I thought Ike was down to a tropical depression by the time it got that far north?

60MPH, at the least. It was strong enough to knock down a few trees and sturdy branches. And the power for most of the Southern IL area I live in. My aunt and uncle, who live about an hour east of Carbondale didn't have power, either.
