Hurricane "Relief" Eyewitnes

After 911 I thought that the American government was making sure that they would be able to respond to another disaster....just because it was a natural one doesn't make it any different, so i can't fathom why everything took so long. To actually survive a hurricane, all the violence and the looting only to die from dehydration in the end because people couldn't get aid to you in time???
It's really sad. I feel sorry for all those people.

I live in Houston, and have 6 friends from NOLA. Finally found one, five still missing. Our Astrodome, hotels, and shelters packed with the people of NOLA with no home to return to. Families wandering the streets begging for food, and money. Many more women seeking work at our local strip clubs to make fast money. A black veil has been drapped upon the south. We search throughout our homes for anything to contribute, even if it's just a blanket and a pillow.
