well I will admit I prefer a hearty rye, with pastrami, perhaps a generous slab of swiss or limburger, and some horseradish or a nice zippy mustard.

You can't have a sandwich for .50 if you use anything but boring bread. Rye bread will almost double your overhead costs.

And I'm part Polish so maybe that's why I butter my sandwhitches.

I was downtown in Columbus one day to visit my wife's lawyer after wife was attacked by a dog and stepped into a jewish deli. I scored the most awesome pastrami on pumpernickel, with thick pickle wedges. cost like nine bucks but it was worth every penny.
