they just started giving Buffy here in September. but it's on at the same time as Mad About You so I don't watch it.
Not because I think MAY is funny, but because the size of Helen Hunt's forehead is perplexing.

Theres some evil devilish character on buffy thats from the cape; its not a huuge role but greg do you know some guy with horns maybe that isnt a main character?

yes thats Lorne! He's a demon who is a good guy on Angel and used to have a demon karaoke bar. And you are right that the actor who plays him is from The Cape.

Greg, have you watched it yet? I won't spoil anything yet, but I will say it was a very well written episode and I think that it is the turning point in the season.

i didn't see it yet actually. i got home in time last night but the station in RI is a WB/UPN merger station and does only the UPN programming on wednesday nights(Angel is shown on Thursdays at 10). But i tried using my roomate's rinky black and white mini-tv to tune into it but i could only get the sound which didn't help very much. i did catch part of lindsey's speech to spike about how he was a "drifter" who all of a sudden had visions of people in trouble and it made me psyched to see the actual episode tonight!

by the way did you see david boreanaz on the jimmy kimmel show last night? it was pretty cool as well.

Turning point as in setting up the rest of the season. Depending on what you think of the episode it could be good or bad, though I'm not sure if I understand your question.

I didn't catch David on Jimmy Kimmell, but I've seen interviews of him before. Actually out of all of the Buffy alumni, I'm least interested in Boreanaz and Gellar's extra curricular activities.

me too for the most part except i did watch valentine and the new dido video because i was interested to see his parts in them.

and my questions was more of an opinion question to see if you thought the turning point was a good thing or bad thing if you felt the show was going into a new direction that didn't sit right with you. if that makes any sense.

If I'm correct about this being the episode that sets the course for the rest of the season then I think the rest of the season will be very cool. It explains a lot of things and brings out new character relations that we haven't seen spelled out so clearly before.
