i am having trouble recording the reamped guitar, need help asap

i have a reamp ver.2 , and i have been trying to reamp some of my tracks and i am having trouble recording the reamped guitar,


okay this is what is happening,,
the guitar is playing back great through the amp, and sounds awesome ,, but when i record enable the input i want to record with, (analog 1,2,3,and 4) i have tried them all, the guitar stops playing and a screetching feedback horrible noise comes out the amp, i am using sm57's, with pro tools 7.4, the amp is a mesa dual rect , with 4x12 orange cab if any of that matters)


i have basically tried everything ,,
please if anyoneknows why this is happening,, messaage me back asap ,,

the signal from your 57 is going out of the output on your interface that is being fed to the amp. has happened to me on a few occasions. thats whats causing the feedback

check your routing.

1: DI track on your DAW > interface output, preferrably not the one used for monitoring > reamping box > amplifier input
2: SM57 > mic preamp > interface input > new track on your DAW

Yeah, just need to route your ins/outs correctly mang. Should fix the problem. You could also mute the mic's track in PT while it records.

thats what i do too, either that or flip the monitoring on my interface to input and not worry about whats coming out of the daw to know what im recording is what i am looking for ...
