I Can't Stop

I can't stop listening to opeth.

It's been two years now or something, and I haven't stopped, I might have a two week break, and search for any bands that might be remotely as good, but I haven't found any, so I turn back to opeth and listen to all the five albums again and again.

It's wonderful. Opeth is one of the only bands nowerdays that give me so many goosebumps that I feel like my skin is falling off. I remember my first listen to BWP, and I pretty much started convulsing. All their albums have done this too me. I was so lucky to find their earlier albums in JB HI FI, and now I go back their, and they have tonnes in stock, every album. So if your in melbourne, and you haven't got all their albums, get them.

Also, sorry but this thread has no point what so over, I just needed to get this feeling out a bit.

Yeah, I was innocently sitting here in the computer lab at university, and this girl sitting next to me exclaimed this in a rather panicy tone, and now I make it my mission to spread this catchphrase around the internet. And it can sometimes be found with pictures of confused granmas or young children sitting at their computer.

The girl must have had five explorer windows open, and thought... i dunno... maybe she thought having too many explorer windows open would be bad.

also, the Phrase Knitting And War, above my non existant avatar comes from me and my friend having a conversation about the past, where all people did was fight in wars, instead of using computers and the internet. Our theory was, BECAUSE there were no computers, they had nothingm else to do but fight wars and... knit.

Hence the term Knitting and War.

also influenced by the Wheee Flash video on Stileproject, inspired by the Gonads and Strife Phrase.

I have been going a few weeks without Opeth, sometime syou just need a break. But they will always be the best band ever, and make me feel the best from their music!

lol that is hilarious. I used to know a website that had funny stories like that but I just can't remember the URL. Stuff like a course to learn the computer, this old lady had the mouse turned upside down and she was using it like a trackball.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I listen to them so much and I'm in such awe that I think, "Why bother listening to any other band" or "why waste time looking for new bands to listen to."
Then I sort of snap out of it and listen to something else that's cool.

So many great bands, so little time!!! Doesn't help that I'm pretty new to metal, so there is A LOT of catching up to do. There is some incredible music out there (like I needed to tell anyone that).
