virginia woolf is pretty boring. i keep trying to read 'to the lighthouse' and i get bored.

but i think nobokov's best stories are his 12 short ones.

I have a book full of Nabokov short stories, but I've only read five or six at this point. Seriously, though, PALE FIRE! Even after I figured out postmodernism was bunk I still think this book is freakin' insane! The poem is good, and the story-in-the-footnotes thing is amazing.
