I dreamed metal.

The other night, I dreamt that I was listening to this fucking amazing metal band. I don't really know how to describe them, really, but they kind of reminded me of a heavier and faster Symphony X. The band in my dream, despite how sick they were, had a pretty weak name: "Alicia"... why, I have no idea. I don't even know anyone named Alicia. Well, I took this as a sign and when I woke up I searched for the band on Metal-Archives (for once it wasn't down)... but, of course, no such band exists, or at least not on Metal-Archives. And if they did, I'd have to write them a letter telling them to change their damn name.

Anyway, I can't decide if this is good or bad. On one hand... I dreamed some pretty sweet metal. On the other hand... it doesn't actually exists and no one will ever hear it again. Thoughts?

This thread would have been more at home as a btw remark in the social thread. I don't think you'll be getting extensive feedback on that.

If an experience like that happened to me I'd be reading Freud's "The Interpretation of Dreams" to try and understand that fantastic experience.

Sadly nothing that exciting happens in my sleep.

Well I usually get killed in my dreams so think of yourself as lucky to listen to good metal.

I've had dreams like that, it sounds even better when your pretty lucid, and just coming out of a dream (when you're literally half asleep/hald awake).

I also like prettiful colors.

Well, this means one thing. You have to make a metal band with that same kick ass sound. You are fully allowed to change the name, though. ;)

Last night I had a dream that I was taking a road trip through Norway with the members of Enslaved and Erik Rutan.
