because both of the albums i actually bought this weekend (Hot Cross' Cryonics and Black Eyes' s/t) aren't as good as the one i got for free (Kayo Dot's Choirs of the Eye).

although the black eyes album is really amazing (i already own it from a burn, but it's good enough i wanted to give them my money) and the hot cross one sounds pretty decent so far. but still.
