After enjoying The Decade Of The Nail Spiked Bat almost every day since it came out, I decided that I had to get Dissident Alliance.
I got it yesterday for 2 $ (plus S&H) via ebay and I'm very glad that I finally got it.
I have to say, it's not as I expected. I read a lot of reviews (the vast majority totally negative), but I wasn't prepared for what I got to hear.
The vocals are far worse than I ever imagined. How could Jag Panzer (JAG PANZER FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!) ever record an album with such a shouter?! Awful!
BUT: The music is much better than I thought. Typical Jag Panzer, if I may dare to say so. Very very good. A decent singer would have made Dissident Alliance a great Heavy Metal album IMHO.
You only have to listen to the D.A. songs on Decade - just awesome!
So, I concentrate on the guitars when I listen to this CD and I'm glad that I finally completed my Jag Panzer collection of official recordings (the Chain Of Command and Shadow Thief bootleg CDs should be on their way to my home as we speak ).
