I find this rather disturbing...

That is waaaaaaay too cruel, man. I mean, what kind of a person would do such thing?

...Hey!... :flame:

Prog-Nazi's, that's what you are... Prog-Nazi's

*shrug* If the guy wants to make a fool of hyself by saying he wrote it, then let him. Anyone who reads that page in the first place is fairly damn sad anyway, and with that stupid rice-burner for a background, it's fair to say the chicks he picks up with "his" poetry are gunna be skanks anyway.

*shrug*

The funniest thing is that the guy made himself a member of UM and started fooling around the symphony x board *wonders if he actually saw this thread*

I hope he gets hooked up with a big gay dude called Bubba pretending to be a chick. Then he'll get punished with some sensitive soap bending exercises.

BWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA *sensitive soap bending exercises*

Hehe... maybe that's where he got his ideas from to post the "poems".

And boy, that webpage is loud! Ever been to the guestbook? I almost went blind... :)

 latinos are loud aren't they? :muahaha:

He should've given his props to the bands, for sure. But I see a lot of posts in here, with some kind of poetry, and I don't see the band's name next to it that originally wrote it. I admit that I don't memorize every lyric from every band I like (I know, I'm a loser), so I couldn't tell you if the poster wrote it or it was from a book or a band.

Even bands glean stuff from books...it's not exactly plagarism, but it's close enough. I don't see you knocking on Emerson's door to tell him! Self-Expression has always been about absorbing your environment and returning it to the world with your own twist. If that's the way some dumb-a$$ wants to do it, so be it. It's real enough to him, that it makes him feel good and apparently that's all that matters to him.

Description
He has been posting copyright protected lyrics of the american band Symphony X as if those lyrics where his own. Something severely penalized by the american justice system. A notice of this has been sent to the band, to avoid something that could bring the site some serius problems, I suggest you take actions against this member immediatly.

An example of violations of copyright, you can read his poem dedicated to the victims of 9/11. Wich the exact same literature of the song "Communion And The Oracle" off Symphony X''s album "V" released on the year 2000.

Lyrics for the song can be found here http://www.symphonyx.com/v.htm#5 and for more information on the band go to www.symphonyx.com

Thank you.

A Symphony X fan.
