ok, i thought kibby had an entirely different meaning. like 'my friend did a bunch of coke and i thought he'd be all pumped but all he did was kibby in the corner all night'

chris came over last night and helped me work out the tank setup! i'm going to get the boa when i purchase the items i still need (heat lamps and a better lid).

and i'll chupe out and post a kibby recipe, very simple:

1 1/4 lb ground beef
1 lb cracked wheat
1 medium onion, grated
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground black pepper
salt to taste (1 1/2 - 2 tsp)
Heat oven to 450F and grease a rectangular pan with butter. Rinse wheat well, then soak in water for about 35-45 minutes. Mix meat and spices thoroughly. Drain wheat and add to meat mixture.

Pat mixture into greased pan. Dot w/ margarine or butter and bake, uncovered, until slightly brown. Then cover and lower heat to 350F and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until done.

it's lebanese, and i think they usually use lamb + beef or just lamb rather than beef...in vegetarian kibby they use pumpkin instead of meat.

Lebanon is persecuted by Syria and Syria hates America, therefore Lebanon is our friend.

India is hassled by Pakistan and Pakistan is our enemy (despite that "ally" crap), therefore India is our friend.

U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

And any of the mentioned countries must have had, at clandestine U.S intervention, a president assassinated and/or replaced. At least once. I can not prove this.

I'm not so sure about Syria (by the time the US was a superpower, Syria had already calcified into the same autocracy it remains today)...that might say something about the healing, benevolent touch of US interventionism!
