I have often tried to tell a rug muncher that I am a lesbian trapped in a man's body, or that I'll help cure her, but have only received a good bollock toe-ing for my trouble.

I appreciate your honesty and your sharing the story. I too has a similar issue arise and tried to employ the same strategy.
