Well, I for one am glad you got Violator. Fucking amazing, that album is.

"Policy of Truth." "Enjoy the Silence." "Halo." You can't lose.

Yeah, it really is. I think it's pretty safe to say it's DM's finest hour, though I do still love the album with "People Are People" and "Master And Servant" as well. Is that album called "People Are People?"

NAD: I miss you too you big afrocized chain-smoking alcoholic who's about to be lobotomized.

Not for nothing, but if you guys dig stuff like DM, Joy Division, The Cure, etc., there are a SLEW of quality bands making waves right now who grew up listening to this stuff and are now bringing back the style. I call it dance music for white people. But you should check out The Stills, The Bravery, Bloc Party, stuff like that.

I think several people here would dig My Chemical Romance as well. The guitarist is pretty fucking good!

I bet there are thousands of fucking KICKASS metal bands I haven't even heard of yet (Besides the uncountable ones I have heard but don't own enough albums by of course) so why stop now?

Listening to all metal, all the time is much more laughable, like this:  . Seriously. A lot of you dudes that listen to metal and metal exclusively just crack me up. Why on earth do you purposely limit yourself when there is SO MUCH OTHER GREAT MUSIC out there!?

I'm probably one of the most open-minded fellas (musically and sexually) on this here board, as I'm an avid fan of punkrock, ska, skapunk, hardcore, etc etc, and I even enjoy Supergrass, some Beatles, some hip hop, rap, so on. It's just that out of the records you listed, the only good were the two extreme metal ones. It's about quality, not genre :loco:
