i have an idea....

I'm pretty sure that I have seen Glenn state in the past that DT won't appear at any PPUSA..Glenn?

The only way that Dream Theater would ever appear at ProgPower is if this thing tripled in size. Otherwise, the cost does not justify the draw as they are expensive as hell.

On the flip side, any of their side projects are game.

Then how about we just invite John Petrucci to stand on stage by himself for an hour and a half?? ;) That should draw a pretty damn good crowd! :D Of course, it would be mostly ladies... Which is okay considering I was like 1 of about 12 there last year... girlfriends of band member's included!! lol...
Juuuuuuuuust Kidding!

Wow, I was gonna say..there were a LOT more women at PPUSA2 than at most festivals I've been to (Powermad & PPUSA1 included). I don't think JP is hot enough to be entertaining just standing on stage for an hour and a half though, but that's just me. :)

Well, the ratio is definitely still in the womens favor (far more men than women), but in comparison to other festivals, PPUSA2 had a lot more women in attendance than most other places had. Of course, this is not taking into account the difference between those who were there for the show, & those who were there because their significant other dragged them along..hehe.

Dream Theater is my favorite band (as you can tell from my name..) but I'm happy they're NOT playing PP. This is my chance to see bands I have never seen before, and bands who I will never see again, in all probablity.

Luckily I'm from NY so I can see Dream Theater play practically ever month :D
