I Have Damnation...

Dom't be st00pid.

Look up the definition of 'Selling-Out' as I applies to the music industry some time.

We've had this argument here many time before... :bah:

Ok, I meant that Opeth might make it into the Top40, have a film clip, get played on popular radio stations heaps etc.

...Or the rereleased SL CD..

@Jeanreno: Sorry dude, was being a little harsh on ya there.... I'm just sick of hearing people get on here and going "Oh Opeth are getting all famous now... they're selling out!!" Without actually thinking about what they're saying....... I'd define 'Selling Out' as significantly changing you image and/or musical styling to pander to a larger audience, and this change is almost always for the worse relative to their current fan base... who would see said band as having 'Dumbed-Down' their music.....

Most (for want of a better word) n00bs seem to define 'Selling-Out' as simply 'becoming more popular' or better yet less 'underground'......

'Selling-Out' should not be defined simply by the nuber of records any given band sells... it's about the decisiosn they make...

But like I said, you've already heard all this from me..... amny times before.... *Sigh*

i got it too. i walked into skinny's and some guy was holding the last copy available (the bastard). i got it for $20 at another store though so its all good.

I've listened to it a few times and it just keeps getting better, but am I the only one that really doesn't like Weakness? The album would've been perfect had it ended at Credits.
