I like mars volta, seen em live 3 times, and they're definitely a mixed bag live. If you enjoy the whole jam band thing where bands act like their is no audience, and they do what they want then you should enjoy them, but if not then good luck.

I love them.
I think jams, mistakes and special treats are the whole point of live shows.
If i wanted music to sound exactly like on the album, then i could just as well... well... listen to the album

An air bubble envelope which was apx. 12cm broad and 8cm high. or something. looked pretty small.

I got 2 katatoniaiwristbands and a plec in a DINA4 envelope^^
