You said you haven't been hired to paint a guitar for like 15 years so you get to make up for it in one big ass guitar job.

Seriously I can imagine you will do a tremendous job on it. That is gonna be a logistical challenge though isn't it. Tell them put the missing D string tuning post on first. It isn't done yet.

LOL...Actually , Yeah , I was...I really like The Longest Day and The Pilgrim...all of it is very Jethro Tull/Sabbath( dio) /Zeppelin-ish...which is cool.

Okay...here we go.

There was some sort of contest here in Austin sponsored by Gibson.
20 people won some ca$h and got a 10ft fiberglass Les Paul to paint their winning designs on. Unfortunately , some of the "artists" were incapable of actually doing any sort of painting so they hired out a friends custom bike shop where I was contacted to reproduce her design on the electric monster.

The following shots are of her original design , a redux of said design and then finally the guitar being worked on from the begining of the masking process to the finished clear coated guitar.
