I'd say these guys were pretty good, I've really been diggin this song. Second songs kinda 80's lame cheese. Great voice this guy has.

I have to say that this recording of Paint it Black does sound very 80's, the tone, the equipment, the reverb and over all recording sound.

I thought it might be some post-Journey Steve Perry thing so I googled "Steve Perry" and "Paint it Black". That heavyharmonies link was on the first page.

This guys got alot more grit than Perry doesnt he ? The other ballades that are on vid links are very Perryish in voicings. Laugh but I almost thought a combination of Perry and Micheal Bolton... lol.... with a face like Page, must be genetics........

I always though Paint it Black could make a good metal song, one of the few Rolling Stone songs Im crazy about

I don't know about being a metal song but it is a great song and one of my favorites by RS... i'm glad Guns n roses didnt do a cover it like they ruined Sympathy for the Devil
