i will admit i only browsed through the manual, i searched and couldnt find any info about your own samples.... or are you stuck using slate samples?

well that does me alot of good...not. although i love the slate samples, im more concerned about my own samples and i wish i could really try this out :(

WTF?? im confused

1. The Trigger demo does not allow you to use your own samples

2. The retail version of Trigger DOES allow you to use your own samples

3. To use your own multisamples, you need to create Trigger instrument files

4. The Trigger Instrument Maker is a separate application which will be released in the next week or two

5. You can load INDIVIDUAL WAV files into the retail version of Trigger, this works without the instrument maker, so you can use a SINGLE sample of your own currently

Hope that clears it up :p

wow...should have known that before I bought it

Yeah that's one of those HUGE BIG DEAL things that the Slate crew conveniently didn't tell anyone unless you asked after the fact when you couldn't figure out how to make your own instruments.

Not once ANYWHERE was there a mention that the instrument maker was a separate app or that it wouldn't be available with the plugin's release :Smug: It's just something that seemed so obvious to expect that no one bothered to ask. Every other triggering plugin on the market allows you to load your own samples and create multisample files WITHIN THE PLUGIN INTERFACE, so obviously everyone assumed this would be the same way. Now, even after the plugin's release, it's still useless to half the people who bought it... Bah.

To me that's like buying a car today, then it gets delivered with no steering wheel.
M: "Where the fuck is the steering wheel???"
S: "Oh, we are working on it, hopefully have it out in the next week or two (Slate weeks, aka 3-4 months in real time)"
M: "Why the hell didn't you tell me that before I bought it?!?"
S: "You didn't ask? I thought it was obvious that unless I specifically mentioned there was a steering wheel that it wouldn't be included right away."
