I just realized why my eyes keep watering

you might just need to change the monitor's refresh rate. the same thing has happened to me before.

control panel -> display -> settings -> advanced -> monitor

my mother told me her mother had a problem with her tear-ducts and once a month they had to stick a thin wire in there. i don't know if they would still do that now, this being like forty years ago.

just saying because thats what happened with the tears and all.

Yeah, change the refresh rate if you can. You're probably at 60hz, right?

The monitors at work give me a headache sometimes because I have to stare at them all day and they're at 60hz. Don't go too high, though. Could screw up your monitor, or so I hear. Go with like 70hz - 75hz, or whatever your monitor allows.
