Thanks for posting ~ this made me smile! I really love hearing cover songs ~ especially when they're done by a band I'm not familiar with. I think it’s fascinating to see which songs musicians will take it upon themselves to learn and perform. When doing a cover, you're just asking to be critiqued!!

I love HammerFall, but their covers are pointless, as everyone is an exact copy of the original. Their latest offense is the horrid cover of MY SHARONA.

Even live one time I saw them break into Enter Sandman.
Bad enough they were doing that as a cover, it was exact to the original.
