What about Manes & Scald?

JayK thought they'd tickled my taint.

The Manes you need is called "Under Eine Blodraud Maane", released in 1998, but containing material that dates back to 1993 -- Norwegian BM. Ignore "Vilosophe" at all costs, you will hate it.

The Scald you need is called "Will of the Gods is Great Power", released in 2003, but containing material that dates back to 1996 -- Russian epic doom viking metal. Ignore "Headworm" at all costs, you will hate it (and besides, NAD's Scald is a different band altogether ).

LOL, figures, since the 2 "avoid at all costs" albums you mentioned are the 2 I've been given to listen to.

I read some reviews on each and immediately though, "I will fucken hate these." again
