I've got the pack of DI tracks for my Slowly We Rot cover, I'm sort of happy with how my mix sounds, but the guitars just don't have "that" death metal sound I'm after.

here my rough mix is - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3163522/Obituary - Slowly We Rot - Cover - MIX 3 - LOUD.mp3

and here the DI tracks are - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3163522/Obituary - Slowly We Rot - DI Tracks.rar

^^^Give it time to upload, its got about 6 minutes left :D

I saw Obituary live a few weeks ago and Ralph Santolla was using a Peavey Triple XXX heavy through Marshall 1960 cabs, and Trevor was using some kind of Marshall head through the same 1960 cabs. But I'm not sure what was used on the original recording, not a Triple XX though

So if anyone could reamp these through a real amp it would be awesome!

EDIT - I haven't been able to record the solo or vocals yet :( Because I'm a shit lead guitarist and can't scream :D

you're on form with the irony today mucky haha

but its not a matter of being a noob or not or deserving a reamp, some people like being altruistic and giving someone a fucking reamp, so there's no harm in asking.

Hey mucky, there is something fucked up about the midi track in your rar file.
It appears to be 74 bpm but the midi track is much longer than the DI tracks.
At the start of the song, the midi track and the DI tracks line up perfectly and
then they go out of sync part way thru the song, is there a tempo change or
something because cubase does not seem to recognise it if there is.
