Alright, so my RME Multiface has served me well for the past 3-4 years, but since this macbook doesn't have a pci express slot, I can't use it anymore so I need to get a new interface.
I was thinking of making the jump for PT and I really don't need more than 2 inputs at a time, so so getting the mbox or profire 610 as a temporary solution as I need to use it on an aeroplane, but I'm still hesitating to get it as I'm waiting for the next revision of Pro Tools/mbox as AVID will hopefully do something radical like offer native HD or something.
Any suggestions?
