I think my house is haunted.

Like, I'm living in this house right now, cos my apartment was lame and I moved, and it's starting to bug me out.

Other people have always been telling me this shit when they're here, like hearing footsteps going upstairs but nobody else was home (no cars in the garage or driveway), seeing thousands of bugs crawling around on the sofa but when we looked there was no trace of a single insect in the living room, TV's being on a different channel when they come back into a room, a sheet on the sofa forming into an icecream cone shape, cold spots, yadda yadda.... And I always tell everyone they are a fucking tard

Anyway, last week I was walking down the stairs and I heard a car horn honking away in the garage, and I went out to look and there was nobody there and the lights were out. Nobody has keyless entry or alarms either. And today, I walked out of the computer room and noticed light coming from the ceiling where this one ceiling fan is (it's about 20 feet up). When I got into the room it turned off. I started walking away and it turned back on, so I stood there and realized that the only way the light could turn on was the switch on the wall right next to me and the remote which I spotted sitting on top of this old organ in the dining room.

What the fuck dude!

I'm outta here in a few fucking months anyway.

You're dead in a few fucking months anyway, muahhhahhhahah.

But really, I wouldn't dare to spend another night there in that fucking haunted house, ehh. Escape asap. Or talk to the ghost, though I guess he won't answer.

get a cross, pray and use holy water

or go for the confrontation: SCARE THE GHOST !!!

drink quite a lot of whiskey and then challenge it to to an arm wrestle, it's the only way it can be resolved...or
throw this symbol up somewhere

then scribe underneath it
DO ONE!

lol sorry didnt read the Pensilvania stuff hehe

well I heard that in US too hehe :)
This area is apparently overrun with ghosts to the point that there is shit about it in the newspaper and there are a bunch of books about all the fuckers haunting this county. Like all these asshole ghosts standing in the streets at night trying to piss people off and that fucker who killed a whole assload of people up in the mountains. And there's this abandoned place called Helltown, where like nobody goes because people in the past said they saw hellhounds and the fucking undead wandering around. There's this place dubbed the Seven Gates of Hell, and people get freaked out before the second gate. I guess there's an abandoned asylum at the end. Oh, and not too far off is this place http://www.easternstate.com . Lotsa fun going on there, not to mention all the good times to be had at Gettysburg.

Gay fucking PA.

What is up with PA and friggin' ghosts? The northeast is pretty damn haunted too. What's funny is that I'm sitting in a computer lab on my school's campus which is in a building that has some stories about it. Directly in front of the window across the street is the music/theater building (where I am 90% of the time). I've experienced some strange shit in that place. Just last night I was talking to one of the janitors by the stage and we heard someone whistling...I know for damn sure that we were the only people in the building. About a ten minute walk is a haunted cemetery where some of my friends saw an apparition. There's also a ton of old homes around here that have ghosts. My cousin lived in one that used to be a coal baron's house. There was a mine subsidence under the property about 100 years ago and a bunch of miners died. She used to see dark figures and all kinds of crazy shit in that house.
There's also a ton of unsolved murders and weird stories around here. In the local paper yesterday, there was a story about how police found this pit with dead animals with an altar nearby.

Yeah, PA is fucked up.

The house that I grew up in was odd too. My dad had this Ouji (spelling?) board that he got at some occult shop when he was in the Navy during the Vietnam war. It wasn't the cheap Parker Bros. version either but made out of wood and hand painted. The guide piece or whatever it's called went missing so he threw the board out. A few months later he found it in the closet in my bedroom, so he threw it out again. A few months later he found it again, and threw it out. This happened over and over for about 2 years before he broke it in half and it stopped coming back. The whole time he thought it was me digging it back out of the trash but it definately wasn't me.

And don't even get me started on the cold cellar. There was something seriously wrong about that room.

There are an assload of places in Reading that are haunted. I won't dare visit any of them, not for fear of ghosts but rather of being shot or stabbed.

I know of some weird ouijaboard stories, too.

Is Reading in the Lehigh Valley? I should probably know this, being that it's not far from Wilkes-Barre; but there's a book called Ghost Stories of the Lehigh Valley and it's pretty easy to find.

I'm thinking about researching the paranormal here in W-B. My friend and I did some EVP recordings in the Wilkes-Barre City Cemetery and we picked up some scary shit (breathing noises that we can't explain, low voices talking).

Reading is in Berks county. I think the guy who wrote Ghost Stories of Lehigh Valley (I think that's where Helltown is) wrote the Ghost Stories of Berks County books as well, of which there are three, plus a book called Berks the Bizzarre. His name is Charles Adams III or something.

I should try doing that graveyard stuff. There are a ton of graveyards around here. A lot of the older ones have been paved over by roads and the new 222 highway expansions. That's probably why people keep seeing shit out on the roads.

D'oh! I just found out that they tore down the "seven gates of hell" and the asylum at the end. Seems there were too many nosey people snooping around and it's private property.

On a side note, I was robbed at gunpoint while walking to my car tonight. Yay! I love PA!
