That being said, I don't have a decent compressor to do it with.

Kind of interested in trying out the API and SSL bundle from Waves.
I know the SSL stuff gets praise around here, but how is the API stuff?

Even further on, the CLA series stuff?

I kinda want to get some decent opinions before I blow a couple grand.
Already been searching and searching, but, new opinions are nice too.

let's face it... if you are gonna spend a couple grand, you might as well get something with dsp. i have had uad-2 quad omni for a little while and it's legit.


i also have a bunch of waves plugins. but you can buy those individually and now that waves is starting their ridiculous price campaign, i am certain that all the "vintage-analog" stuff will find it's way to the same price margin.

solo/dual/quad = 1/2/4 processors.

the flexi just means, the device comes with a $500 voucher for the uad plugins.
