I'm a member. I checked the F.A.Q section and there is nothing about Signing up without a CC.
I will however post a question to the CDC board for ya and find out if you can sign up with a check or money order.

When you get to the last part of filling out the membership you will have the option to click on Alternate Payment Methods:

Click here to pay by mail. Print an application form to mail in with
a money order or cashiers check. You will be notified when your
membership is activated. Do not send cash or personal checks
