I'm listening to that Blonde Redhead album right now and I must say it's extremely ace. I am VERY excited to see them at the end of April in Dallas.

I just wish Seasick Records (local record store) carried the rest of their albums.

Thus far, my faves are BR and KVLR. Kinda only got to the raw emotional reaction stage on those.

Hey, that's the other main reason I got it. I was checking out the record store owner's picks of the month and the cover art caught my eye... so I start reading the little blurbs they package over the cds...

"Drinks from the same dark chalice that intoxicated King Crimson circa Lark's Tongues in Aspic" (or something like that)... so that obviously struck my interest (see avatar!).

But yeah, it was definitely worth purchasing. I was afraid it would be too "flowery," so I was really surprised when the album gets absolutely mind-shatteringly noisy at points.

I think I read that Blond Redhead has (had?) a (some?) member of Enon in the band... Do they sound anything like Enon?
