Hey Guys new guy here, occasional lurker and from now on a regular poster as well

For starters my name is Panayiotis but everyone calls me Pan where i am.

im looking for advises/tips on how to correct my tone as well as constructive critisism

Gear used:

POD x3 PRO

ENGL SCREAMER Head ( connected with the pod using the 4 cable method-send/return-)

Lepou's Amp head

Mesa Dual Rec Shure 57 Impulse

I recorded 4 Guitar tracks(not copy paste)



A rough mix and master of the intro for peripherys Icarus lives, Drums and Guitars only,tomorrow i will add the bass and see how it goes just looking to fix my tone

Sounds pretty mono to me, although I'm on my ghetto speakers. How did you pan/process the 4 tracks since you said you didn't just duplicate them.

first guitar hard right,second guitar hard left third guitar 40% right fourth guitar 40% left mate. from my KRK's i can hear the pannings just fine as well as from my audio speakers and my mac book ones. from the head set is more clear though

Try panning the inner guitar tracks to 80. The inner ones aren't supposed to be as loud as the outer ones too. Also, the playing isn't tight enough.

i was more concentrated on the tone rather than the actual playing,but i will make redo's again
