I am just glad he created a different project to get those viewpoints out instead of using it for an IE album.
THIS!

So they were better at ProgPower than at ProgPower?
The way I see it, if there are so-called intelligent people in this country supporting Palin,
No worries. Sometimes the nature of these boards gets in the way of the normal stream of a conversation.heh...check the timestamps, your admission of your error and my harping were posted almost simultaneously. I'm a pretty fast typist, but I had no chance to see your response before I posted mine.
It's been a real shit day at work. Please don't take my pissy mood personally. No, of course not, that was supposed to be humorous hyperbolic imagery, intended to at least make you crack a smile, not get all huffy!
That would have been cool.Too bad the timing on these isn't a little different; I'm going to be in NYC (and DC!) in September, but not those dates, and I think it would've been great to sit down and have a beer at one of these shows!
Oopsies. I meant they were better at progpower than at powerfest. Obviously I haven't fully woken up yet today.
No fuckin way, maybe you should have been in front of the rail with me!!!! That set is my second favorite set ever besides JOP at PP IX.
Thats me directly to the left of Jon wearing my PP VIII shirt

I'm in that picture too, right in the front in front of Matt, wearing my white and black Annihilator shirt. That performance blew me away, and yes, I think it was better than the Progpower performance. I remember both of us as giddy as a little fucking girl when that set was over, hahahahahahah!
I was as giddy as catholic priest at a altar boy church retreat in the mountains totally away from all other adults
Were you bothering Jon Schaffer much like you did with Oliva a few years back? It seems that by the picture you were.

I just bought my VIP ticket for Chicago, looking forward to the trek and I am looking very much forward to seeing Sons Of Liberty live, as I play it on the radio here when I program the show and such pretty often.
That's just wrong on so many levels.
Iced Earth's Powerfest performance was the worst IE performance I have ever seen (I have seen them 5 times total)
It wasn't all the band's fault though as there were major sound issues throughout. Maybe you didn't know if you were up front, but the vocals cut out about 4 or 5 times throughout the set.
Also, Matt seemed very uncomfortable just "standing" on stage during the instrumental parts of songs, as opposed to headbanging when he had his long mane. Sounds petty, but his hair was a major visual factor of an older Iced Earth gig.
If it was your first IE gig, then yeah, I suppose it would have been a good show for ya. No one I ever talked to who has seen them previously thought much of that performance.
