As does "Horror Show". I think people approached it with a certain amount of skepticism, based on the monster movie theme. However, there are some great songs on that disc (Dracula, Wolf, Phantom).

^^ yup. Even Something Wicked this way comes I don't enjoy it that much. The hard song/ballad/hard song/ballad structure annoys me, and all the songs follow the verse-chorus-verse-chorus-solo-chorus pattern. Bah.

It's pretty easy to figure out where Glorious Burden sits in their discography ranking. If you exclude The Gettysburg Trilogy, it sinks to the bottom, just above the debut. Every other release, other than the debut, is better than Glorious Burden. It doesn't necessarily make it a bad album, but my good goat, they've done much much better.
