Well, here's some news for you, amigo. ALL rock music originated in the good old U S of mother fuckin' A. Were it not for great Americans like LEO FENDER, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and the like, the Brits would have never heard of rock n roll. They'd still be sucking down tea and biscuits and eating the most bland foods the planet had to offer. True, some great metal came to USA and the world via England, (MOTORHEAD!!!!!!!!) but even Lemmy would admit that rock n roll came from the states. CLOSED MINDED PEOPLE ARE USELESS. It's one thing to hate country but to call it a "disgusting music genre" is to bash all those who were influenced by it like the ROLLING STONES (where were they from , by the way? Oh yeah...England...but didn't they get inspired by AMERICAN music??? COUNTRY even? hmmmm) England gave some great metal back, but only because those who created it were inspired by AMERICAN artists. Kiss is fun hard ( sometime glam ) rock.

I don't care and I don't like Rolling Stones. Like Ritchie said they were Chuck Berry rip offs. They were popular cos they were white and group band was IN at that time.

ie. Beatles.

There is few good British metal bands now ie. Blaze and Marshall Law. For me they do zillion times more than Hammerfall, Manowar, Iced Earth, Stratovarius etc. I call Hammerfall and Nightwish etc Eurotrash metal. I'd rather listen to my Michael Jackson and ICE-T cds anyday. Of course some of the limey bands album sleeves that I'd love to wipe my ass with ie. Dirty Deeds, Dragon Force, Area 54 etc.

I'm kind of a guy like bands for the period of the time and albums. There's not many consistent good bands expect Marshall Law, Megadeth etc for me.

All of you idiots making all this big fuss over my opinions about likes of Matt Barlow or Iced Earth in genral. Sure maybe I might like this guy if I met him and had brief conversation etc. Didn't he quit the band cos he was un happy with his singing job?

For me that "Horror Show" sounded like Slipknot esque drum beats and I own most of their records by pure pressure. I just don't like their music very much.

I said Iron Maiden is shit. I hate that band now ( I loved them till 7th son and X-factor ) and many other bands so many to mention.

You said narrow - isn't AC/DC, Tankard, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden and Mötorhead are very narrow for producing same formulatic boring records?

I want more interesting stuff like Strapping Young Lad "City" or Sykes "Nuclear Cowboy".
