Idealist or Realist?

As stated in the Q&A thread, my friend and I had a discussion on idealists and realists in the metal community. We never came to a conclusion, so my suggestion relied on asking the "general metalhead". Since this town has little to no metalheads, UM is the next best choice. So... what would you consider yourself? Idealist or realist?
