Yes records is the word we used to use until trendy hip dj's turned into vinyl.I still up until recently called the music store a record store out of habit.

Off Topic, when bananas were $14/kilo, we were still buying them for our son (he loves them). Another mother told my missus that she'd never pay $14/kil for a banana...Missus looked in her trolley and pointed that she was paying more than $20/kilo for a mars bar, and our kid wasn't gonna be eating a mars bar.
