I'm About to Start Recording - Advice Needed

Yes, this is almost exactly what I plan to get, except for the monitors. I plan on getting some good monitor headphones instead, so that I can avoid too much acoustic treatment, in which I have no experience.

I see what you mean, but what I meant was that, if you take the amp out of the equation, you're left with SM57>Apogee One>Logic. If you compare that to the other guys on the forum, it's pretty cheap.

I'm definitely working on my technique and have a brilliant teacher. Again, thanks for the great advice.:kickass:

That's true, still the cab has a huge impact on the soundquality, more than the apogee and logic ;)
but yeah, you dont have to go 4k+ vintage mic, nevepreamp, protools blabla
